back from 3d2n sec3 NYAA camp!
omg. finally back from camp?
so tired with muscles aches, back aches and all..
first day we reached there, we did cycling.
then, cos i don't know how to cycle, i doubled-biked with jennifer.
i almost died! cycle from the camp site (somewhere at Changi) to Changi Beach and then back from Changi beach to the campsite.. i heard from hui xuan that the journey back and forth is 16km! first time tagging along with friend, got 5 blue blacks.. si bei tia siol xP
the whole thing took about 3-4 hours.. so tiring..
then also butt pain, the whole of first night i couldn't sleep on my back, i had to sleep on my stomach. then also can't sleep cos the instructors were like talking so loudly to each other, playing out music and shouting.. somemore almost every 5-10mins got at least 1 aeroplane fly pass, so noisy! especially the singapore airlines one.. XPPP when at about 3am, i wanted to sleep. but then, my legs started itching. and soon, the whole leg was itchy. i had 6 mosquito/insect bites that night, whole night scratch, couldn't sleep! so ended up, the first night there i slept for only 2-3 hours.
the next morning i was damn tired already, like almost got no energy to do anything. then, we went for the amazing race. our instructor say the first team who finish will have extra 15 mins of bathing time, while the last team to finish will minus 15 mins of bathing time. we had to go from the camp site to east coast park leh, and then back again. sound tiring boh? haha, this one is a damn long story. got grouped with julian, jerome, jacob, benedict, sunicia, wen yi, jennifer they all larh. so very fun. but then, we got confused after the first clue, so we were like the last team (out of the 6 teams) to reach the first station. when we went there, we had to wait for all the rest of the teams to complete the station. took like half an hour or so. by the time we finished, we almost gave up doing the amazing race already, cos what for? run and perspire like mad for nothing, and then only lose 15 mins of bathing time. but then, we still ran anyway, and tried to catch up with the other teams to the second station. after the second station, we realised that there were still 2 teams behind us, so we relax lorh. walk all the way to the next few stations. then while waiting for truman to do something at the east coast beach, we were bored. then suddenly julian ask if anyone want to sing or dance. then benedict started dancing too gee by snsd. so funny! then ring ding dong by SHINee..
i hated the third station where we had to squat down and cover the barrel which has millions of holes in it until the barrel was filled 3/4 to the brim. omg. the barrel was like damn big, like the ones that you use to build a raft from scratch (the ones in sec2 camp if you're in yckss). so we were all squating down under the damn hot sun covering holes. i had to squat next to jerome, cos he had not enough fingers to cover the barrel. then, soon, i also had not enough fingers to cover, so wen yi squatted behind me.. wahh. i tell you arh. we were like, asking the people in our team who had to fill up the barrel with water to hurry up, and then i got splashed all over with water.. -.- so my shoes and socks were all flooded with water and sand after we finished the station.
the other stations are okay, just that they are tiring as well. then after that, ate lunch. after lunch went kayaking. we had to have girl-boy pairs in kayaking.
girls from 3e2, 3a1 and 3a2 had to line up in a single file, while boys from 3e2, 3a1 and 3a2 had to line up in another single file. then, the instructor made sure each one of us had a number, with the first boy and girl being number 1. then i was number 4. i was paired up with guy number 4 too. and guess who? it was sheng da. but then, liyana ask me to change with her, so i was number 9. my kayaking partner was jun long from 3a1.
then, we started kayaking. not a few minutes later, i suddenly felt like i was going to throw up.. OMG! i was seasick!. so i took a deep breath and then rested for a while, then continued paddling. THE PADDLE WAS LIKE SUPER HEAVY LAH! then, vaiges on my left, started "feeding the fish" if you know what i mean. yellow stuff just kept coming out of her mouth non-stop, like when youturn on the tap, it runs.. something like that. then i was like, shoots. i feel like vomiting even more. not only did i see vaiges throw up, i also saw nikki and wen yi throw up. and i couldn't stand it anymore, if i paddled somemore, i could have threw up.. so then i told jun long that i felt seasick and wanted to throw up. he was like, "nevermind, i paddle, then you don't paddle. you rest" or something like that. so for a few minutes, i just sat in the kayak, breathing in and out deeply. then continued paddling, and stopped, then continued, then stopped, until we reached the shore. we were finally on land. then i thanked jun long. lol.
yeah, that marked the end of all the activities for the camp, and i felt relieved. as we ended the kaaking thingy earlier than expected, we had extra bathing time! woot~ our instructor totally like forgot about what he said about the amazing race, and he gave all of us one and a half hours to bath. we were so damn overjoyed!! then in the night each class had their own BBQ, and then ms teo came and brought snacks for us! haha. so nice of her. so we enjoyed the night. when it was lights off time, i had a knockout. i just fell asleep the moment i lied on the wooden planks, and i slept peacefully for the whole night, couldn't even hear a sound, and i woke up at 6.20am to shower, as we had to assemble by 7.45am with our camp bags.
i was happy when it was time to leave the camp site, i went straight home, quickly took a cold shower, ate lunch and slept for like, 3-4 hours in the aircon room. so shiok! but then the next day got SS test, so must study lorh. so sad..
when i saw the test paper the next day at school, i was like, SHIT!! so difficult. we had to write an essay of not less than one and a half pages. the question was "Which policy was more important in the population growth in Singapore during the 1980s? the "Graduate Mothers' Scheme" or the "Have Three or More If You Can Afford" policy?" or something like that..
so dfficult! i hope i pass the test!!
i'll try to keep you updated;;
ohya, my grade 6 piano practical exam is on this coming tuesday, 2nd march, so do wish me good luck!! xD
